Hostess Joan Buck Smith welcomes you to Buck’s Homestead Bed & Breakfast. This 1830's country farmhouse has two guest bedrooms, a sitting room, private baths, a screened-in porch and a rocking chair front porch for relaxing. An afternoon treat of fresh baked cookies and coffee, tea or hot cocoa will greet you upon arrival. A full country breakfast will be served in the dining room or on the screened-in porch on nice days whenever you arise. Enjoy the country atmosphere near the quaint village of Montgomery and spend the day antiquing, crafting, shopping or go on a wine tour.
Two bedrooms: one with a queen bed; one with two twin beds. Rooms are furnished with antiques, stenciling and crafts. TV in each room. A sitting room has coffee supplies, and a refrigerator for guests’ convenience. Private baths. Play a game of pool. Friendly house cats!
A full country breakfast will be served. Fruit or juice, hot or cold cereal, yogurt and granola, country french toast or egg entree, sausage or bacon and home made baked goods will be available. Joan is a retired Foods Teacher who loves to cook! Meals prepared in the country kitchen. Enjoy the kitchen antiques and collectibles.
Rates include an afternoon snack and full breakfast. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and can accommodate a maximum of two people. Children are welcome if you take both rooms. Wireless internet available. Two night minimum stay required on Holiday weekends.
2009 rates: first night $100 plus tax; additional nights @ $85 plus tax

Reservation/cancellation Policy: Full deposit for one night; for longer stays, a 50% deposit is required. Full refund given if cancellation is received two weeks prior to reserved date; 50% refund if deposit is returned when a cancellation is received less than two week prior to reserved date; No refund is given when cancellation is received 3 days prior to date.
Check-in from 2-7 pm; Check-out by 11 am.
Buck’s Homestead is conveniently located in the Hudson Valley near the quaint village of Montgomery, NY in Orange County, just off Exit 5 on Interstate 84. From the NYS Thruway, take the Newburgh Exit onto I84 West. Exit 5 onto State Rt. 208 North to first traffic light. Left onto Hawkins Drive, Right onto Old Neeleytown Rd,. Left onto Goodwill Road to 364 Goodwill Road.
