The Storm King Lodge is located in historic Mountainville, New York, 60 miles from NYC and within 15 minutes of West Point. This charming pre-revolutionary hamlet was a popular summer resort area for NYC vacationers during the 1800's where local residents would rent rooms for the season.

Our lodge was built in the early 1800's as a carriage house for the near-by estate, and remodeled a century later as a guest house. The original woodwork in the main lodge room frames the oversized fireplace. It is surrounded by magnificent views of the Storm King Mountain on the east, and Schunemunk Mountain State Park on the west, perfect for sunrises and sunsets. The locality boasts several art galleries, including the world renowned Storm King Art Center, antique shops, miles of hiking trails and nature museums, skiing, outstanding restaurants and wineries, Hudson River Activities, and the famous Military Academy at West Point. The Woodbury Common Factory Outlet is within a ten minute drive.

We offer a pick-up service from the near-by train (Metro North, Salisbury Mills), Airplane (Stewart Airport) and bus. Routes I-87 & I-84 are within minutes.

There are 4 air conditioned bedrooms with private baths, three have queen beds, one has twin beds and two have fireplaces. A healthy buffet breakfast is offered. Prices range from $150 to $190. This is a non-smoking B&B. A masseuse is available by appointment.
